John C. Hall, DDS

Dr. Hall attended the University of Florida as an undergraduate majoring in Chemistry. He received his graduate degree in Dentistry from the Indiana University College of Dentistry in 1977. He then entered the United States Army as an intern in the Walter Reed Dental Activity, completing a general practice residency in 1978. Dr. Hall entered private practice in Sarasota in 1980 and opened our current location in 1986. He has advanced training in Intravenous Sedation and maintains a current conscious sedation permit with the State of Florida. He also holds an advanced cardiac life support certification and is member of Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Along with his Intravenous Sedation training he has postgraduate training in Temporal Mandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ) and Implantology. Dr. Hall lives in Sarasota with his wife and two sons.

James R. Miller, DMD

Dr. Miller attended the University of Miami for undergraduate studies, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Chemistry in 1988. His post graduate studies took him to the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry where he earned his D.M.D. degree in 1992. His post doctoral residency in advanced education in General Dentistry was completed through the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry, St. Petersburg clinic in 1993. He joined Family Dentistree in 1993.

Dr. Miller has been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry since 1992. Dr. Miller lives in Bradenton with his wife, son, and daughter.

S. Lance West, DDS

Dr. S. Lance West did his undergraduate work at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Samford University. Dr. West attended Marquette University College of Dentistry where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998. He received his license to practice dentistry by the State of Florida in 1998 and has been in practice in Sarasota since then. Dr. West joined the doctors and staff at Family Dentistree in October 2000. Dr. West lives in Sarasota with his wife and 2 young daughters.

Anthony J. Leonards, DMD

Dr. Leonards grew up in Sarasota and graduated from Riverview High School in 1993. In 1995 he graduated from Manatee Community College with his Associate of Arts degree. From there he transferred to the University of Florida in Gainesville and earned his Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Chemistry in 1998. Dr. Leonards attended the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2002. After a year in private practice in New Port Richey Florida, he and his wife Dawn decided to move to the Sarasota area where he joined Family Dentistree in 2003. They live in Parrish Florida with their two sons, Holden and Jackson. Dr. Leonards has been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Florida Dental Association since 2002.
