Our office utilizes state of the art digital radiography and photography. The x-ray images are transferred directly into a computer. This allows the dentist to review the image and manipulate the image visually in many ways to aid in the diagnostic process. This enables easier diagnosis of early dental problems which results in more conservative dental treatment. An added benefit of digital radiography is a significant decrease in radiation exposure compared with traditional dental x-ray films. When combined with photography both you and your insurance company can see the teeth instantly.
